FAQ

Frequently asked questions

This is a lot of text… can we just talk?

Of course, and we actually prefer it. A video call or a coffee is the best way to answer all your questions and, above all, to get to know each other. We'll be by your side on one of the most important days of your life, so we like to build that trust from the start.

Write to us with your date, the place and a little about yourselves, and we'll find a moment to talk properly.

Are you available for our date? Do you travel?

We travel anywhere in the world. We have filmed weddings all over Europe, in India, the United States and the Middle East, and we love discovering new places and cultures through each story. Travel and accommodation are part of the quote and itemised from the first email, with no surprises.

Since we take on twenty weddings a year at most, dates fill up fast. It's best to write to us as soon as you can with your date and place, and we'll tell you if we're free.

How do we book our date?

Your date is booked as soon as the contract is signed and we receive the €500 booking fee. The contract is signed online from your private portal, so there's nothing to print.

The booking fee isn't an extra cost: it's deducted from the total. The rest is due no later than 30 days before the wedding, by bank transfer, Wise, PayPal or another method we agree on.

When do we receive the film?

The trailer is usually ready in about four weeks, and the full film within 120 days of the wedding at most. Editing well takes time: we go through everything we filmed, choose the music and build the story carefully.

If you can't wait that long, there's Express delivery: everything ready within 30 days for an extra €500. It has to be requested before the wedding and depends on our availability. You'll receive everything in your private portal, where you can watch, download and share it with whoever you like.

What does your work include?

Every proposal is made to measure, but it usually includes a short trailer, perfect for sharing, and a longer film with the whole story of the day.

We also always include a couple session before the wedding as a gift, because for us it's essential: it's where we really get to know you, hear your story and film much of what gives the final film its meaning. It also helps you get used to the camera, so on the wedding day we're no longer strangers.

If your wedding lasts several days or takes place in more than one country, we adapt everything to your plans. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll put together a proposal.

Do you shoot Super 8?

Yes, and it's one of our favourite things. We shoot real analogue Super 8, not a filter: the film is developed in a lab and scanned, keeping the grain, colour and light of the original format. It gives the film the feel of a family memory.

It's an add-on quoted separately, because every reel is bought, developed and digitised. You can combine it with the digital film or have a piece shot only on Super 8.

How do you work on the wedding day?

There are usually two of us filming, so we can be in two places at once and not miss a thing. We don't direct or interrupt: we watch and film what happens, and we try to go unnoticed so you can relax and enjoy the day.

We agree the hours of coverage together in the proposal. If the day runs longer, we can stay on, as long as we talk about it.

Can we choose the music?

Music is a big part of the story, so we choose it ourselves, using licensed songs from music libraries and platforms. That way we look after the rhythm of the film and, as far as possible, avoid social networks muting or blocking the video when you share it.

If there's a song that means something special to you, tell us: it helps us understand the tone you're after.

Can we share the film on social media?

Of course. The film is yours to watch, keep and share with family and friends, on social media too, as long as it isn't for commercial use.

We love showing our work, but in the contract you choose whether we can use your film on our website and social media. And if there's anything sensitive you'd rather we didn't show, just tell us and we'll respect it.

What if we need to change the date?

It happens, and we understand. If we're free on the new date, we move it without you losing the booking fee. If we're not, we'll find the best solution together.

The cancellation terms are explained in detail in the contract, so everything is clear from day one.
